Ethylene glycol stearate EGDS cas 627-83-8 is dissolved or emulsified after heating in the surfactant complex, and lens-like crystals will be precipitated during the cooling process, thus producing pearlescent luster. Used in liquid washing products, it can produce obvious pearlescent effect and increase the viscosity of the product. In contrast, ethylene glycol distearate produces more intense pearlescence, and ethylene glycol monostearate produces finer pearl.
