Applications
1) Citral as a flavoring agent, mainly used for the preparation of lemon, citrus and assorted fruit flavors.
2) Citral used for artificial lemon oil, citrus oil modulation.
3) Citral used as the material of synthesis ionone, methyl ionone and damascenone.
4) Citral widely used in tableware detergents, soap, toilet water flavoring agent.
5) Citral used for the manufacture of vitamin A, vitamin E and chlorophyll in the pharmaceutical industry.
6) Citral as organic raw materials can be reduced to citronellol, nerol and geraniol. It can also be converted into lemon nitrile.
